Mesa Verde Ranch

Welcome to South Texas hunting paradise in Webb County featuring whitetail deer management and trophy hunts.  Located in the whitetail Golden Triangle in Webb County.  The ranch is roughly three miles off of US Hwy 83, just 30 miles north of Laredo or about 2 hours south of San Antonio. 

Details of Mesa Verde Ranch Whitetail Hunts:

There are a variety of hunting packages available depending on level of services rendered.  For a $300.00 per day per person camping package, guests will have a tent set up and camping gear provided along with breakfast, dinner and transportation to and from the blind.

Kill fees start at $600.00 for deer scoring under 130 Boone & Crockett.  Add $100.00 for each additional inch of antler.  For example:  130 B&C buck is $700.00 and 135 B&C is $1,200.00.  140 is $1,700.00, etc.  No additional charge for spikes, does, and feral hogs -- limit one of each.  Javelina will be $100.00 each.  Predator, small game and javelina hunts are also available during off-season as well.

All balances on game taken are due before leaving the ranch.  You will be required to sign a waiver upon entering the property.  Upon request, a copy can be faxed to you.

About the Ranch:  It is 1700 low-fence acres of prime South Texas brush.  We are bordered by a 12000-acre ranch with other large low-fenced ranches nearby.  Since we have not over grazed or cleared large sections of our ranch, it is a sanctuary for deer seeking good cover.  We have been carefully harvesting equal numbers of bucks and does for many years so that the ratio is about equal.  During the rut one may see as many as a dozen bucks in a single hunt.  Success rates in past years have been nearly 100%.  Every year some big bucks are taken.  And there have been some real "monsters".  Check out the  'A Tale Of Two Seasons" in the 1999 July-Aug issue of The Texas Trophy Hunter's Assoc. or "Uncle Frank's Buck" in the May-June of 2000 issue of TTHA.  Guests can enjoy a truly wild South Texas habitat with a rich variety of birds, mammals and other wildlife.
